These are the decor at the entrance of TK Park, it stands for Thai Knowledge Park. We found out that the architect for this library was also the owner of Refill Now! hostel, and he's a very cool person, his name is Ron.



This is Ron, he just refused to be shown in the photo, hahaha, nice guy, and he's really cool too.


Ron told us that the concept of building TK Park is to allow the children, and adults to have a place where they would like to go and learn. And base on that principal, the library was conceptualised to be a cool hang out place, where anybody will be able to enjoy their own "me-time" in the library.

it's really a pity that i didnt take a better photo of the signage. This is TK Park of Bangkok, located at 8th Floor, Central World Shopping Centre (if i remember it correctly that is, haha). this is a very cool library, and i really hope we could have one of these in Malaysia one day..........

check this out, it's a decor, it's a ladder to climb up to the higher shelves too. ain't that cool? this is located at the children's corner. and things like these, make kids enjoy reading even more.

there are so many funny feature / decor objects in TK Park. this is one of it. it serves as a temp sitting area while the kids look for the right book.

they have very cool chairs here too. all custom-made. all are creative. the main objective of these chair is to design something that the library-goers can just mix and match and just use it whenever, however they like.

this is the main area, where adults can find whatever book they need. you can see almost the whole area, how was it designed and arranged, i daresay it's been thoroughly thought through, the sitting area, the flooring, the book shelves even the lighting. everything just so soothing.

I really wish we can have something like this in Malaysia.
