多媒体大学佛学会（马六甲分院）

缘起
我在马六甲多媒体大学就读了一年后，之后在当中许许多多的因缘，决定在多媒体大学马六甲分院里头成立佛学会。过后便凝聚了校园里头的几位志同道合的佛友准备成立佛学会。

在此设这个帖是希望有一些事情能获得大家的帮助，也能为我与其他筹委一起讨论的地方。

到现在为此，我们在准备着佛学会的建议书(Proposal)和章程(Constitution)，里头的条规等等的都在近期讨论着。

基本上，这个佛学会应该会叫做 MMU Buddhist Society,至于佛学会的简称过后会在讨论。以下是这个佛学会的建议书的其中一部分，还有其他的部分还没弄完。

PROPOSAL FOR MULTIMEDIA UNIVERSITY
BUDDHIST SOCIETY

1.0 INTRODUCTION

Our country’s national ideology which is The Rukunegara, and the de facto Malaysian pledge of allegiance, states the following principles:

KEPERCAYAAN KEPADA TUHAN
KESETIAAN KEPADA RAJA DAN NEGARA
KELUHURAN PERLEMBAGAAN
KEDAULATAN UNDANG-UNDANG
KESOPANAN DAN KESUSILAAN

The very first principle stated in the Rukunegara is the belief in God. Therefore, the Multimedia University Buddhist Society (“Buddhist Society”) in abiding fully to this principle as stated in the Rukunegara, seeks to promote the belief in God among the students of the Multimedia University (“MMU”).

A religious society like the Multimedia University Buddhist Society (MMUBS) will encourage Buddhist students of MMU to live a life that have a belief in themselves, holding on to their faith towards Buddha as they pursue their education. It will be a place of fellowship, mutual edification, and support in times of joy and need. Through active participation in MMUBS activities, students will not only go through their tertiary education, but also receive a wholesome growth spiritually.

MMUBS will represent the voice of Buddhist students in the MMU, and be a platform for fostering close relationships among Buddhist students, equipping its members with the knowledge and the wisdom from the dharma, as well as participating in activities which promotes the welfare of the society. We would also like to be source of information for students who would like to know more about Buddhism.
With these aims in mind, the Multimedia Buddhist Society proposes a range of programs and activities which we hope will allow us, the students, to get the most out of our university life by putting our knowledge in Buddhism into practice through a righteous lifestyle, and experiencing a wholesome life.

2.0 RATIONALE

In line with our country’s constitution and the Rukunegara, there is a need for MMU, with a fair amount of Buddhist students on campus grounds, to have a Buddhist Society which is a registered student society on the campus. This will enable the Buddhist Society to represent and promote the interests and needs of the university’s Buddhist students, as well as facilitate the interaction of its Buddhist students with the university community as a whole.


3.0 OBJECTIVES

• To propagate the right understanding of Buddhism to MMU Buddhist community.
• To prepare a platform for Buddhist to share Dharma knowledge.
• To strengthen and maintain the fellowship among Buddhists in MMU.

MMU Buddhist Society (MMU Buddy) is officially formed as approved by Student Admission of MMU.

（Exhibition展览,Performance Night歌唱表演）
预期在二月23~27号举行

- Wesak Day Procession 卫塞节游行
五月八日/卫塞节前夕

课程主题 :《清净道论》与止观
课程内容 :
此课程将略谈佛教在印度的起源与开展、佛教三大体系形成之因缘及应以何心态看待。进而介绍南传其中一部重要论著--《清净道论》，并谈及此论典与修习止观之关系。此课程除了听课，也学习研读论典方法及提供法义讨论与交流空间。
