Kenyataan Akhbar Bersama antara Gabungan Persatuan Penulis Nasional Malaysia (GAPENA), Persatuan Penterjemahan dan Penulisan Kreatif Malaysia (PERSPEKTIF) dan Kumpulan Sasterawan Kavyan (KAVYAN)
Pertubuhan-pertubuhan penulis Malaysia mendukung tanggungjawab dan amat peka kepada isu-isu perpaduan bangsa dan negara. Kami memandang berat terhadap segala ucapan dan tindakan yang berkaitan keutuhan negara kita.
1. Kesan penjajahan memecah-belahkan penduduk pelbagai kaum di Tanah Melayu sebelum kemerdekaan. Semua rakyat tanpa mengira kaum dan asal-usul mereka wajib bekerjasama dengan erat, dan berusaha untuk memperjuangkan masa depan tanah air yang cemerlang.
2. Semua rakyat Malaysia mencintai keamanan dan ingin melahirkan negara yang bersatu-padu, harmoni dan muhibah. Kita harus menjadikan sejarah sebagai iktibar dan menumpukan perhatian kepada pembangunan dan kemajuan masa kini dan masa depan. Oleh itu, kami menentang habis-habisan sebarang ucapan dan tindakan yang memecah-belahkan perpaduan, serta menyeru seluruh masyarakat Malaysia supaya tidak dipengaruhi dan dihasut oleh segelintir orang yang tidak bertanggungjawab.
3. Dalam era globalisasi, Malaysia hendaklah menunpukan perhatian dalam bidang pembangunan sosio-ekonomi yang adil dan saksama, berusaha meningkatkan taraf hidup rakyat serta meningkatkan usaha menyatupadukan rakyat.
4. Berusaha mengembangkan proses keharmonian Bangsa Malaysia kepada masyarakat umum. Sekiranya timbul sebarang salah faham atau persengketaan antara rakyat, maka kita akan menyelesaikannya atas semangat permuafakatan berdasarkan Perlembagaan Malaysia dan Rukun Negara.
5. Bangsa Malaysia secara umumnya masih perlu mencapai persefahaman dalam tafsiran sejarah negara. Maka GAPENA, PERSPEKTIF dan KAVYAN mencapai persetujuan untuk menganjurkan Seminar Sejarah Nasional Malaysia. Tujuannya adalah untuk melahirkan perpaduan Bangsa Malaysia atas fakta ejarah negara yang benar dan mantap.

答:那位记者只是配角.逮捕她的情节是这部连续剧的戏引.那位发表极端言论的领袖也只是配角.真正主角还没出场.

陈云清今午获释已返回大山脚
唯郭素沁与柏特拉仍毫无音讯

经过逾14多个小时的扣留后，《星洲日报》高级记者陈云清终于在今早11点10分从武吉阿曼警察总部离开，被警方护送返回大山脚住家。
昨晚8点半於槟城大山脚住家在内安法令下被扣留的陈云清，今早被带来吉隆坡武吉阿曼警察总部，针对巫统升旗山区部主席阿末依斯迈的“寄居论”课题进行盘问。
经过一轮盘问后，陈云清在早上11点10分从武吉阿曼警察总部获得释放，被警方直接载回大山脚住家。
槟州首席部长林冠英发表文告表示，他接获槟州警方的通知，指陈云清已在今早11点10分在武吉阿曼获释，并预料将在下午4点，抵达其父母位于大山脚的住家。

(The Malaysian Insider) Sin Chew journalist Tan Hoon Cheng was released at 2.30m today.
Home Minister Datuk Seri Syed Hamid Albar said this at a press conference at the Bukit Aman police headquarters.
"She made the first report so we had to get to the bottom of it and we received information that her life was under threat," he said.
He added that blogger Raja Petra Kamaruddin and Seputeh MP Teresa Kok would continue to be held for investigations and if there was no reason to hold them, they would be released within the 60 days allowed for by the Internal Security Act.
He insisted that the move was not political and it was purely the decision of the police.
"I can tell you that the police need not refer to me. Under Section 73(1) it is under their discretion but they will let me know.
"I think there has not been any malice on their part," he said, adding also that if he interfered in police action, people would say there is a political motive.

“就算是绑架也会告知受害者在哪里？但是我的女儿呢？没有！”
遭内安法令扣留的雪州行政议员郭素沁自凌晨开始失去行踪，年迈的父母亲今午语带哽咽控诉，政府的逮捕行动比绑匪还要卑鄙，不仅没有告知理由，至今仍未通知两人女儿被捕的消息。
74岁的郭金棠与71岁的冯雪琼今日在八打灵再也的行动党总部，与该党领袖一起召开记者会，心情沉重地谴责政府的逮捕行动。
激动的郭爸爸大声控诉，身为郭素沁的双亲，政府竟然在事过12小时后仍未给予通知。他在记者会上几度哽咽，不断询问在场记者与党领袖，“我们的女儿在哪里？”
“我要深深抗议，到底她是给政府抓了，还是给匪徒绑去了？我们不知道，你抓我的女儿没问题，但是你必须通知我们，至今为止什么都没有！”
“身为父母，我们的女儿在哪里？我要问这个问题，我们的女儿在哪里？究竟是死是活？”
“就算是绑架也会告知受害者在哪里？但是我的女儿呢？没有！”
忧心如焚的郭金棠两眼通红，强忍着在眼眶内不停打转的泪水，不时以纸巾擦拭双眼。
值得一提的是，采访今日新闻发布会的记者，几乎大部分都身穿黑衣佩戴黄丝带，以示声援被捕的《星洲日报》高级记者陈云清。
郭妈妈则显得较为冷静，语气也比较平静。她质问首相阿都拉，郭素沁是不是因为讲真话才被逮捕。
“我觉得伯拉刚上台时要听真话，我的女儿讲了很多真话，是不是因为她讲真话而要逮捕她？现在政府这种行动根本就是绑票的行动，那种举动跟匪徒来绑人家有什么分别？她到底做错了什么？”
女儿的被捕让这名伤透心的母亲看穿了当权者的真面目，她形容阿都拉政权已走到末路，才会做出“糊里糊涂，不可理喻”的行动。
“我们父母始终做她的后盾，我们不向这种恶势力低头。本来我对目前的当权者还有几分同情，觉得他饱受压力，但是现在我看起来，这个真的是一个腐败的政权。所以腐败的政权在末朝的时候就是会做出这些糊里糊涂，不可理喻的事，我要严厉的谴责！”
为了支持女儿走一条为民斗争的道路，冯雪琼表示自己宁愿伤心，并未女儿能够坚持走下去感到无比光荣。
“我是她的母亲，我很心痛，是啦，表面上没有流泪还是什么，因为我想到她讲真话，走得是一条为人民争取福利，为人民申冤的一条道路，是在在野党。”
“她没有跟那些人同流合污，没有向腐败的政权低头，我觉得很荣耀，我有这样的一个女儿。所以我很伤心，但是我宁愿伤心，我不能做什么，我能够做什么？”
说到这里，采访的记者无不闻之心酸，现场弥漫一股忧伤的气氛，出席记者会的沙登国会议员张念群也红了眼眶，强忍泪水。
冯雪琼继续表示，“我唯一能做的是为她祷告，我呼吁所有有信仰的人，不论什么宗教，都要为在内安法令下逮捕的人祈祷，上苍会怜悯的，我是相信这一点”。
郭金棠也到场要求行动党协助郭素沁起诉雪州反对党领袖莫哈末基尔，因为他认为基尔是导致郭素沁被捕的罪魁祸首。
林吉祥当场答应下来，并嘱咐也是律师的蒲种国会议员哥宾星着手处理此事。
虽然政府至今尚未说明郭素沁被捕的原因，但是她在近日卷入蒲种回教党祈祷声风波。根据《马来西亚前锋报》本月9日报道，巫统雪州反对党领袖基尔呼吁雪州民联政府别向“某个政党”低头，以禁止蒲种与哥打白沙罗的回教堂通过扩音器播放祈祷声（azan）。
据报道，基声声称郭素沁曾向巫统斯里沙登州议员莫哈末沙定提呈一份联署备忘录，形容有关祈祷呼唤声打扰当地居民的安宁。
不过哥打白沙罗回教堂秘书阿末利占已向《当今大马》否认，该回教堂受到非穆斯林社会的压力，阻止以扩音器播放祈祷的呼唤声。他澄清，那是因为回教堂的扩音器损坏，所以无法利用扩音系统呼唤穆斯林祈祷。
郭素沁也已经否认，发动任何关于哥打白沙罗、斯里沙登或蒲种再也的回教堂课题联署运动。

大家可有什么方法声援被捕者和表达我们的不满?
那是一场政治斗争，与我们无关。
先辈们为了争取自由，已经付出不少努力，不是一小撮人就可以摧毁的。除非我们自己也放弃！
大家要珍惜发言的权力。
我们尊重言论自由，但是我们却不能苟同没有根据的言论，或者故意挑衅的言论。这一点，我们坚信我们的言论是负责任的！我们的行动也是爱国的。
玉珍的说法很好。

BANGKOK, Sept 16 - When Datuk Ahmad Ismail, a division chief of the ruling Umno, labelled Malaysia's ethnic Chinese minority "squatters" and warned them not to become "like the Jews in America", it shook Malaysian society to the core. It is a sign that Malaysian politics is shifting radically towards a dangerous nationalistic path. With a few words, Ahmad managed to insult the Chinese and other nationalities. In Southeast Asia, his words will be treated with the same seriousness as they have been in Malaysia.
The uproar that has erupted following his remarks shows that Malaysia's multicultural society is still very fragile. Even Malaysian Armed Forces Chief General Abdul Aziz Zainal reminded the government of the danger of racial tensions and urged stern actions against those who cause such trouble.
After the bloody anti-Chinese riots in May 1969, the Chinese and other ethnic minorities have encountered all kinds of discriminatory measures. But they have fought on and thrived. Now the country has become an economic powerhouse in the region, and these minorities are proud for having worked hard against all odds. They have spoken out about the huge contributions they have made to nation-building.
The Chinese in Malaysia have survived. They now have to stand up and encourage their politicians to fight against such racist slurs and discrimination. The MCA should consider pulling out of the Barisan Nasional to protest Umno. The MCA has been working on the inside for too long without having much of an effect. Ahmad's incendiary remarks were like a dagger piercing into the heart of every Malaysian, regardless of nationality.
Although Ahmad refused to apologise, his party has done so on his behalf. The Umno supreme council also slapped a three-year suspension on him. This decision was a divisive one, according to Malaysiankini.com because Ahmad is quite a popular figure at the grassroots level. Many see him as the champion of the Malay cause. If this trend continues, it will further weaken Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi's grip on power. Many division chiefs in Umno have called on Abdullah to resign ahead of 2010. He has said he will not step down.
This incident will help former deputy prime minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim attract more people in the days to come. Anwar's coalition front, the Pakatan Rakyat, must work harder to unseat the BN. Anwar said that by today he would able to form a federal government. He would need at least 30 MPs from the BN to defect to make this happen.
Anything can happen in Malaysian politics these days with literally everything up for grabs. After all, Anwar is still facing a sodomy charge, the second such accusation made against him in a decade. The government prosecutor wants to transfer the case to a higher court but Anwar's lawyers have objected. It remains to be seen how the case will proceed and what its impact will be on Anwar's political ambitions.
In retrospect, the outcome of the March 8 general election and Anwar's landslide victory in Permatang Pauh recently changed the landscape of Malay politics. Many possibilities are on the drawing board. But the best option is to have a government that will treat every nationality equally. Unfair policies from the past, especially the 30-year-old New Economic Policy, must be relinquished to pave the way for new policies that benefit all Malaysians. Malaysia has reached the point where it can form a truly multicultural society. Only the politicians, especially those belonging to Umno, can thwart this. Racial slurs and other condescending schemes could raise tensions and force everyone to look inside - temporarily. But at the end of the day, modern Malaysia will emerge and prosper only when all nationalities become one.

在警察帶我步出警署時，我才發現，原來已經很多報界同行以及黨團人士守候在外聲援。當時，我壓抑的情緒因深切的感動而再也把持不住，眼淚奪眶而出。
而當警車駛至警署大門時，我看到了我的上司――檳吉玻及霹靂區高級經理潘友平，竟然用肉身擋在警車前，促使警車緩慢行駛，以確定我是否在警車內，然後，敲打警車玻璃，以手勢鼓勵我。
我立即把眼淚擦乾，大家都在努力了，我也一樣要努力。
