在昨日傍晚于吉隆坡郊外设立路障，导致交通缓慢，车主叫苦连天外，警方更进一步扩大镇压行动，疑手持91人禁足令名单，登门搜查三间巴生谷酒店的房间，试图揪出净选盟支持者及相关的衣物。
《当今大马》据悉，警方昨晚共在巴生谷的3间酒店进行搜查。
在吉隆坡市中心的Puteri Park酒店，砂州公正党宣传主任维农克迪（Vernon Kedit）声称警方盘问该党昨晚在该酒店所进行的活动。
维农透露，该党是在有关酒店进行监督选票的培训。他指出，警员在昨晚12点之前无功而返而离开，但是可能会在凌晨1点再次折返。
他指出，警员也在酒店外的走廊上继续进行监督。
另一方面，马来西亚律师公会人权小组成员迪本德拉（H.R.Dipendra）也声称，他看见两名警员进入其房间对面的两间房，另外两名警员则身穿便服。
不过他却无法肯定警方究竟是在寻找什么，或抑有充公任何的物品。
另一名要求匿名的瑞士酒店住客，则声称他看到警员在酒店柜台审查住客的名单。
“当我们走进来时，就有警员拍下我们的照片。但他们仍未敲门搜查我们的房间。”
另一方面在梳邦，民主行动党马六甲爱极乐（Ayer Keroh）区州议员邱培栋则透露，有5名警员搜查他们酒店的住客。他警觉不妙，马上下令入住同一酒店的党员及时离开酒店。
目前他及行动党党员仍然在酒店外徘徊，不知道警方究竟是否曾经进入他们的房间搜查。
至于在东姑广场的莲花酒店，Tune酒店附近，只看见数名身穿制服的警员手持一份名单进入有关的酒店。
前霹州大臣尼查过后也在其推特上指出，正在睡觉的他被派门的警方“敲醒”，不过警员仅盘问他一些资料后就离开了，并没有逮捕他。目前仍无法确定尼查究竟身在哪一家酒店。
至于前公正党理事巴德鲁也向《当今大马》证实，警方一度试图以不理会91人禁足吉隆坡名单为由，尝试逮捕他，但最终却让他成功逃脱。
警方是在星期四获得庭令，禁止包括净选盟、土权及巫青团领袖在内的91名党团领袖在明日进入吉隆坡市区。有关的禁足令原本是在昨晚晚上8时开始生效。
另一方面，经过有关当局连续数周的“文攻武吓”之后，吉隆坡市中心昨晚不见往昔的热闹，显得特别静寂，许多夜猫子皆留在家中。
目击者声称，许多的夜店的顾客皆是外国人。
然而在吉隆坡市郊外的情况却是截然相反，警方在主要的通道上设立许多路障，并抽样检查车辆，形成大塞车。
一位《当今大马》的读者就向我们呈交了昨日傍晚，新街场南北大道收费站至隆市的漫长车龙的照片。警方选择在收费站之后设立路障的举动，无形中扩大了封锁的市区范围至吉隆坡市南部入口要道。
另一名公民记者大卫卡梅伦则透露，在北部吉打州双溪大年大道收费站至吉打州首府亚罗士打，也设有路障。他透露一名从马泰边界黑木山进入我国的加拿大学者及其同僚也在边界受到拦截，理由是要检查是否有武器。另一名市议员则告诉他，他所乘坐的巴士被警方搜查，甚至有些背包也未能幸免。

In rain and chaos, Bersih marches on

KUALA LUMPUR, July 9 — Chaos has broken out in parts of the capital city.
Amidst pouring rain, warning sirens, shouts, chants and the whizzing of tear gas canisters being fired continued to fill the air.
Police helicopters are seen hovering over the city, monitoring the situation from above.
At the absence of their leaders, many of whom are defying orders locking them out of the city, Bersih 2.0’s protestors are moving on their own from separate locations to meet at one location — Stadium Merdeka.
At the historic site, the coalition of 62 NGOs is scheduled to hold its second rally since 2007 calling for electoral reforms.
But the police appear determined to stop them and are seen clubbing at protestors, dragging them away during arrests and piling them into navy blue trucks.
Undeterred, protestors are pushing on in groups, linking arms as they defy orders to stand down through jeers and shouts of “Bersih!”
Some are dressed in Bersih’s yellow, some are brandishing placards or banners and many came prepared with soaked cloths to cover their faces from the gas.
They run helter-skelter to dodge the police, constantly dispersing and regrouping as they move forward, past the plumes of tear gas and smoke.
Here are some of the updates from The Malaysian Insider’s reporters Shazwan M. Kamal, Boo Su-Lyn, Yow Hong Chieh, Debra Chong and Melissa Chi on the ground.
“People of all ages and races are gathered at the Menara Maybank junction. Some are wearing yellow raincoats, yellow bandanas with Bersih scribbled on them and yellow armbands.”
“Estimated 8000 in front of pudu station. The two groups of Bersih supporters now stopped near Pudu station, appear to be waiting, chanting. Crowd size swelling by the minute, no sign of cops yet. Roads to petaling st have effectively been blocked as well as Pudu.”
“Crowd runs towards FRU truck at Menara Maybank and FRU truck moves back as it sprays water cannons.”
“Tear gas fired into Menara Maybank. Crowd rushes for shelter inside Menara Maybank. People share salt to help against tear gas. Phalanxes of fully-armed riot police stand near Menara Maybank with six FRU trucks.”
“Shops near Petaling Street, Kota Raya are all closed, though some onlookers can be seen on top of some tall buildings.”
“Cops roughed up a man and arrested him. They are searching his belonging now while other cops waiting for Bersih people to walk towards them.”
“Police are dragging a man forcefully away and are shouting at protestors to disperse.”

下午4点：国家文学家沙末沙益率领小批净选盟支持者及剩余的委员前往国家皇宫提呈备忘录。但在聚集皇宫200里处，却被警方阻止拦截。
下午3点45分：净选盟委员黄进发宣布茨厂街的集会队伍解散，在解散前宣读净选盟的8项诉求。
下午3点45分：安华被送入班台医院接受治疗。
下午3点35分：回教党中委沙末被催泪弹击中背部，已经送入医院治疗。
下午3点30分：富都车展的集会者声称，警方开路允许集会者从富都车站前往苏丹街，条件是他们只占用半个车道并和平地游行。
这是民联议员西华拉沙及倪可汉在与警方洽谈后所取得的协议。而黄潮群众一边游行一边也高喊口号。
不过在民众步行中途，警方却与集会者发射冲突，并试图逮捕西华拉沙及倪可汉，更发生催泪弹及水泡，西华拉沙最终被捕。
警方声称他们仅允许集会者以小组的方式解散，不曾允许他们另行集会。
最终逾两千名被镇爆队夹攻的集会者，被迫进入同善医院里头躲避，最终警方冲入同善医院逮捕，导致集会者纷纷透过后巷离开，仅有一小撮人被捕。警方早前也向同善医院发射催泪弹。
不过警方却在后巷的亚罗街继续追捕集会者。
目前仅剩下两组黄潮集会者，分别在秋杰附近以及中央街坊继续游行。
巫青团的游行在凯里被逮捕后，已经自行解散。
