Thanks for your response. Yes, motivation to students by the teacher is vital. It's our duty as teachers to develop our students' interest in Literature through motivation. Since motivation can be done in various ways pertaining to our students' level and needs, we ought to get to know our students better. This can done by giving them related questionaires, pre-test, interviewing, counselling, etc. Once we know our students' strengths and weaknesses, we can plan strategies/methodologies/techniques that best suit our students. Thus, "Motivation towards Literature" should be our immediate concern.
